Almost everywhere I did my field studies in folkloric beliefs and practices, I noticed that most of the time, people in need, went to the local witch to solve a problem, often of sentimental nature. While the profane just approached the Wise One with greedy attitudes and lust for results, few others had a more grateful and respectful attitude, fertile ground for the advices. The lemon spell is a typical spell of Italy, especially the southern regions.
In the picture a more noble, stilish way of casting a spell and learning a Myth, being part of an informal and invisible group of those preserving the Immortal teachings, at different levels, for different people, needs, goals and nobility. And some alchemy too.
