EL GUIA INDIO
Among Spiritual Guides, many have a Native Spirit. Usually in Cuba they are called Indios. In Brasil, they have Indios de Pena and Caboclos. Apart from their individual stories, one of the main teachings of those kind of Guides is related to a simple, natural, altruistic, direct way of being, integrated with the Self, Nature and Society. The Native is not primitive, is essential and united to the core of truth in its more simple way of being and thus very difficult to understand by our modern mentality.
The Natives Guides are, for many Americans, what Sylphs or Elves were for Europeans.
Creature of a different world…
And I am not talking about the myth of the good savage nor I am divin’ deep into cultural appropriations. Just making a reflection of onthology, afterlife and its inhabitants.
Their simbolic meaning beyond any direct blood ancestry or hidden DNA combination.
The Warrior is the core of the energy of one’s own family, the main resource and defence.
A responsability, a task bestowed unto the bravest and smartest. A force of a clan, of a group of people, an untamed strength.
The Native talks to Nature like Saint Francis.
This shamanic attitude means reintegration and love for God’s creation. Deep interaction and union, understanding beyond a mental sphere, by intuition and experience.
The Indian Spirit is the voice of your Spiritual Land and Freedom. They demand respect.
