Jesus entered the Holy City of Jerusalem, riding a donkey like Dyonisos, in triumph.
He was welcomed and greeted.
A bit later, He was brutally tortured and murdered by the same ones that welcomed Him. A criminal, Barabbas, was chosen instead of Him. This story remind us the vanity of the glory if not supported by good people.
The Palms Sunday teaches Us, among other things, to be grateful to benefactors and never betray those who helped Us.
Benefactor’s betrayers were put by Dante in the jaws of the Fallen One. Even the Devil himself didn’t like Them.
Food for thought.
May the Spirit of the Holy bless Thy houses and may the Archangels keep them safe.
Amen selah
