If a liar wants to know the truth what can be said apart from lies?
The truth lies within a card, lies too.
So the cards speak about issues and who cause them, not just within but even all around.
Every card has also a precise connotation with somebody else, less visible, impossible to shuffle.
With the Neapolitan cards, everybody has a reason, everybody has a story and everything and everybody should be mixed well together.

Carte, carte, boni ccarte!
Ve chiamo d’ ogni parte
SATANASSO E MUSTAFí!
Famme sapí¨ la verití !

Cards, cards, good cards!
I call you from everywhere
Satan & Mustafí !
Tell me the truth!

(Traditional Neapolitan invocation for card reading)

Neapolitan Gatto Mammone card, the three of wands, the DEVIL of the Neapolitan deck.

(Ovunque l’ Arcangelo mica poteva volare,
Con le carte tutto poteva vedere,
Pure quello che non s’ha da fare)
