LA CANDELORA

Candlemas, according to Roman Catholic Apostolic Church Holy Liturgy, is the day of the presentation of Jesus to the Temple and the purification of Mary.
Simeon pronounced His words and Jesus was proclaimed Light for the illumination of the people, lvx mundi, light of the world.
Candles are blessed. Heathens celebrated the bear Goddess and Romans the Lupercalia to protect their sheep herds from wolves.

Within Our Tradition of Italian magic, a ritual is celebrated invoking the Saviour and also three specifical Angels for a better and prosperous year.
